​Filled with great photos of Italy, Italians and especially with Jamie's finished dishes. A mouth-watering celebration of the Italians' passion for good food. Everything we’ve tried from this book has turned out perfectly.

 

Jamie At Home, by Jamie Oliver. (Hyperion Books: New York, 2007. 407 pages).

Simple, elegant & tasty recipes. Lots of great info on planting and caring for veggies as well. Excellent photos. We respect Jamie's food knowledge & we like his attitude & technique. ​

The Greens Cook Book by Deborah Madison with Edward Espe Brown.  (Bantam Books: New York, 1988. 396 pages).

Fantastic vegetarian recipes and great utilization of herbs. Never had a recipe fail.

The Silver Palate Cookbook by Julee Rosso and Sheila A Lukins with  Michael McLaughlin (Workman Publishing: New York, 1982. 362 pages).

Our favourite cookbook. Whatever you grow— these chefs have such remarkably creative ways to prepare delicious appetizers and main courses.
